What an account gives you

Booking as a guest works fine for a single stay. An account is what keeps everything connected:

• Bookings

  Requests you send while signed in are tied to your account and appear in My bookings on every device.

• Saved stays

  Tap the heart on a place you like and find it later under Saved.

• Reviews

  Keep your review history and publish a verified review after a completed stay.

• Claim guest bookings

  Booked without signing in? Claim the booking to link it to your account at any time.

• Hosting

  Switch to hosting to publish and manage places from the same account.

• Account security

  Change your password and see every device signed in to your account.

Create an account

Signing up takes three short steps.

   Create your account

   Sign up with your full name, email and a password, or continue with Google.

   Verify your email

   We send a six-digit code to your inbox. Enter it to finish signing up.

   Sign in whenever you return

   Use your email and password or Google. If you forget your password, we email a reset code.

Your account settings

Account settings has three sections, each saved on its own:

• Profile

  Change the display name shown on your bookings, and see the email address on your account with its verification status.

• Security

  Change your password, decide whether other devices sign out, and review active sessions with device, IP and last-active details. Sign out anything you do not recognize.

• Danger zone

  Permanently delete your account and its saved data. You confirm by typing your email, and we send a final verification link. Bookings you already made stay on record for the host.

Bookings, saved stays and reviews

Once you are signed in, your Trips list shows every booking linked to your account, Saved holds the places you liked, and Reviews keeps what you have published. A booking made as a guest can be claimed at any time, and a completed stay becomes reviewable once it is linked to your account.

Hosting from the same account

The same account is your hosting account. Switch to hosting from the account menu to add a place, manage listings and handle booking requests.
